Next year’s summit will kickoff the year with a forum featuring the major announced candidates for governor.

The current political landscape requires us to exercise our agency at the polls to cast informed votes. The California governor’s race will determine how the state’s political leadership responds to the on-going challenges we face, from health care coverage to constitutional governance.

Our empowerment relies on evidence-based public policy decision-making, civil discourse, democratic participation and accountability. This forum is an appropriate and timely launch to a critically important election year where the stakes could not be higher.
